  • Cheers! I was looking for this for quite a while. Y'all would remember that where information technology says, "... added a comment" in the history, information technology would perhaps brand sense to provide a link to the comment.

  • In VS 2017, I had to go into Tools -> Options -> Work Items and change "Open up work items in" to Visual Studio instead of the default browser to see the link in Step 5. Otherwise, it opens the piece of work item in my browser (where at that place is no such link to "Open Lawmaking Review in Team Explorer")

  • In VS2019 you demand this already for step two to see New Query in Team Explorer > Work Items.

  • @Itison I'm betting y'all already knew (and realize information technology's seven years subsequently), but it appears at that place's an "Open Lawmaking Review in Squad Explorer" link at the top of the display that will testify the comments. Tedious and bad UI, yes, but at least they're even so there, somewhere...

In Visual Studio 2017 the link Open up Code Review in Team Explorer might not appear. To display the link on lawmaking review piece of work items get to the following starting from the main menu:

Tools -> Options -> Piece of work Items

Change Open up piece of work items in: from Default browser to Visual Studio.

At present y'all can execute queries on work items of type Microsoft.CodeReviewResponseCategory or Microsoft.CodeReviewRequestCategory and the link should announced in the top left corner of the piece of work item.

Thank you user735232 for your comment, I added this as respond to brand the solution more visible.

If you do non perform many lawmaking reviews, this may also exist easier: In Team Explorer, nether My Piece of work, there is a Code Reviews section near the lesser. A subtle drop down bill of fare can let you choice other choices, such as:

  • My Code Reviews
  • Incoming Requests
  • Recently Finished
  • Recently Airtight

If you lot select "Recently Finished", you should be able to view your completed code reviews and pick the one you want from there.

  • Still, the "Recently Closed" pick will merely show you code reviews up to a certain appointment in the past. I'm not sure how far exactly, for me information technology seems to be about a calendar month. So if you are looking for anything from a twelvemonth back or something you are likely not going to discover it this way.

  • @mattherman - That's true. This is intended equally a quick short cut. I had written "If y'all do not perform many lawmaking reviews", thinking back so information technology would only show up to a certain number of reviews at once and overwritte them with newer reviews eventually. Your suggestion that it is based on a timeline is probably more accurate.

  • To add to @mattherman's comment, it besides doesn't prove me, at least, CRs abandoned by others. Possibly that'due south neither finished nor closed, only I exercise need to see them at times. Simon's reply includes these.
